Email Inbound Not Working

Hi,

I created a process with Email Inbound activity and on the email inbound tab below are the entries:

POP3

chedb008 - this is the machine on which the CS and JAMES SMTP servers are running

110

newlead

password

This is to create a new case folder when ever a new email comes to newlead email account on the JAMES SMTP server. But the email remains on the inbox with no further action.

How do I trouble shoot this behavior. Is there any setting required on JAMES SMTP server. All my account are on the localhost.

Hi Rajesh,

I would do either of the following to fix the attachment linking:

• In the Email Inbound *
  • map the email message to a package (as you have done)
  • map the attachments to process attachments
• In a Link To Folder:
  • Link the email message to its folder (as you have done)
• In another Link to Folder
  • Link all the process attachments to the supporting documents folder.

OR

• In the Email Inbound *
  • map the email message to a package (as you have done)
  • map the attachments to process attachments
• In a Process Data Mapping
  • Map the folder path of the email message to the r_folder_path of the package.
  • Map the folder path of the attachments to the r_folder_path of the attachments

I can't find the earlier message with your correlation configuration so I can't comment on the difference of the two approaches since I don't know what your earlier configuration was.

Is it working for you now though?
