Problem to creating an IRM server.

Hi Expert,
  I am creating an IRM server there are some field like Database type,Login ID,Password and Connect String.I fill all the information and then press OK button. Resultant i find out error "Unable to create irmserver. 718 Oracle Connection Error:'[NOTCONNECTED] Lost connection to database  " taht is a issue.
Please suggest me as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

this seems to be more an orcale issue than an IRM issue.

The error doesn't say much...right?

I would suggest to turn on Oracle SQL trace and Oracle OCI tracing to find out more.

Your database admon will support you.
