how to delete time value from my date attribute

Hi all,

I have a problem i.e previously we developed one attribute name "Validation Deadline",this displaying in the properties window like date in one box and in the next box it is showing time.

What actually now the user requirement is only show the date not time.

what can i do now.

I got that one but i have one more problem i have to dispaly the same in cloumn display without time.
