Hi all,
The Formsbuilder developer guide 6.6 states :
Document validators
A document validator validates the entire form before submission. For example, it might check that the
start date for a project precedes the end date.
The boolean-valued validate method of a document validator returns true if the form contains valid
values, false if not. The Java code for a document validator must implement the following interface:
public interface IDocumentValidator extends IAdaptor {
public boolean validate(Document document) throws XFormsProcessorException;
}
where, Document is in the org.w3c.dom package, and XFormsProcessorException is in the
com.documentum.xforms.engine package.
To display a custom error message, you need to throw an AdaptorException with the custom error
message as the AdaptorException message parameter.
Now the red part i don't understand. The method signature of the validate() method specifies an XformsProcessorException, so where should i throw the AdaptorException ?
