What is the disadvantage/advantage of installing the BAM using the BAM Engine Installer on the Java Method Server vs Installing the BAM server manually?

When using express installer, you don't have to configure anything, and the bam server is ready to use
disadvantage
Sometime the Java Method Server memory is not enough to operate bam server jobs, and you'll expirience that bam jobs stops working with no reason
On Manual installation you can configure everything separately, but it takes more time and requires medium effort
