Source code for CTS default plugin

I need to use document atributes to create a startup file for the application used to transform my documents to a new format.  It would be helpfull to be able to add the functionality to read attributes to the default plugin so that I do not have to worry about starting and controlling and monitoring the application used to transform my documents.  To do that I either need instruction on how to access document attributes using the default plugin or the souce code for the default plugin that I can modify to access and use document attributes.

Maybe someone can address this question instead.  How are the PROP elements used in the DOCUMENT_PS_TRANSFORMATION command line file?  I would like to find an element that would pass parameters to the default application when it starts up.  Thanks in advance.
