DNR on Client Side

I need to run a dnr on the reciever side to tell a cache server to update. Are the arguments basically the same on server side and the reciever side.. in other words would the mail-admin.ipl basically work the same if it was executed on the reciever as it does on the server with enabling you to get the list of files that pass/fail etc.

I believe the script should work the same regardless of which side of the deployment it is run on - assuming that you have Perl in place and you're running it 'after' the deployment is completed.

That's what I thought, but wanted to check if args passed in were the same before I make sure perl is on the other system. If not I'm assuming that since it's on linux that the dnr is executed with arguments passed in. I can then use a shell script to get it... maybe :-)
