not able to call init method in FormAPI script

HI,

I am using the following code in datacapture templating form. when i am running this form hello world is printed but not "in init method" i.e i m not able to call init function. can anyone please tell me how init is called in DCT and whether this function is called implicitly or we need to call it explicitly.

Well, first of all, when posting code, please use the code tags and/or attach the file.

Secondly, there is no such thing as an init function in javascript. It is a made up concept. You have to call it somewhere when the form loads:

init();

It can really be named anything though. For FormAPI I prefer initializeDct; and with FormAPI, you really want do tie this into the onFormInit event:

IWEventRegistry.addFormHandler("onFormInit", initializeDct);
