Pages in teamsite not resolving

TS6.5 Win2003EE new install, pages in teamsite are throwing the following error:

"Connection Failed
iwproxy was unable to open a connection to: servername:81
Reason: No error."

Thoughts? IIS? Proxy? Apache?

Is your machine really called "servername"? Or, did you edit that before you posted it? You may want to check your iw.cfg since you're on a new install. You may also want do run iwproxy in debug mode (iwproxy -d) -- that usually tells quite a bit.

As a matter of fact, that is my server name.

Usually this means something as simple as the webserver not being installed prior to installing TS - typically in a new install.

No dice typical "Page cannot be displayed" erro comes up. So what do I have to do to apache to make it play nice.

And yeah we screwed up and installed TS prior to IIS so doing damage control here in dev.

Oh and no "servername" is not the name of my server, but nice zing. Good to see some life here on devnet.

You have to figure out what port your webserver is running on. Change it
to port 81.

There should be a couple of other IIS mods that would normally be done by the TS installer,
check the install guide.

Cool so I changed the IIS port setting to 81 and Teamsite is now coming up in the browser. However my asp pages in Teamsite are throwing a "Page Not Found".

Thoughts?

Thats not doing it, i've got .asp enabled in iis6.

Interesting.. can you copy your iw.cfg - atleast the proxy sections?
the output of 'iwproxy -d ' for a sample asp page request would also help

I can't browse .asp in my teamsite and IW-Mount Web Site(througth IIS)

turned out my issue wasn't teamsite but rather my machine needed the new version of the ms xml parser v4. ugh..

1.Open C:\iw-home\install\tspostreboot.pl
2.Find # IIS6.0 (this part)
call_system("\"$scriptsdir\\adsutil.vbs\"", "set", "$iiid/AllowPathInfoForScriptMappings", "1");
3.comment # call_system("\"$scriptsdir\\adsutil.vbs\"", "set", "$iiid/AllowPathInfoForScriptMappings", "1");
4.Open IIS, Delete the IW-Mount Web Site
5.Run command
