DCO outlook plugin

Hi guys,

I'm new about DCO, and I got a question regarding dm_message_archive.

Can we simply adding custom attributes into this object type?

I tried to use DAB to add some attributes, but when I checked in, there was an error stating that there are 2 i_vstamp attributes.

The condition is the same like the one I found in here: https://community.emc.com/message/489869

So I create a supertype from dm_message_archive by DQL, but I stuck again.

I can't show the custom attributes in my outlook.

The question are:

1. Are dm_message_archive attributes supposed not to be changed?

2. Where should I configure which attributes I want to show in Outlook plugin?

We use Documentum Content Server 6.5 SP1, along with DCO 6.5 SP1.

Would definately recommend you get onto EMC Tech Support  and request some hotfixes.... doubt if you will get them, at best you  will get a feature request for 6.7 sp1 timeframe!!!

Do enough to find the limits and raise the cases and keep your boss happy, after that I would not waste anymore time

DOH!!! feel like a bit of an a** now.... the following download is available on EMC Powerlink....

Documentum Composer Light Weight Object, Version 6.5 SP3 (zip)

I back checked after seeing it when downloading 6.7 Composer

It provides support for editing LWSO in Composer.

Suggest you open a tech support case. Configuration of LWSO maybe due in 6.7??? or later??? Or maybe EMC have no idea that this is a problem. Assuming they know it is a problem, you will need a Composer hotfix to enable LWSO editing in your versions.
