Automatic subscription of workspace for user

Hi,

Is it possible to do automatic subscription of workspace for user, e.g. the following 2 scenario,

1) When a user is added to a workspace, then it will automatically subscribed to that workspace

2) "Assign" a subscription to a user. When the workspace owner add a user to the workspace, can the owner assign a subscription to that user or in other words subscribing the workspace for that user

Any idea?

How about doing this in WOM API? I've checked the JavaDoc, the "User", "Subscriptions" interface can help, but I cannot find an API for updating an Subscriptions back to the User?

Any idea?

What you need is prescription api which is not currently available. Subscription api is available on User object (User.getSubscriptions()) and it should be called on subscribing user session.

Prescription api is available only for Document Folder notifications.
