Can anyone help me in knowing difference between Filestores and cabinets ?.
If i have cabinets how can i create filestores from it ?

Filestore is actually where Content Server stores content on physical drive (eg server, NAS, SAN, etc). Cabinets is "virtual" representation of where content object (located within repository) is associated to. When you create a repository, the Content Server automatically associates ALL content to be stored in filestore_01. If you need content to be stored in a different location, you need to create a new filestore using Documentum Administrator.
