Folder Structure refresh issue in Webtop UI

When we import a document in Webtop, it goes to a desired folder location. But the folder structure doesn't get refresh automatically, we have to

go to the root(top) folder and expand the root folder to refresh the folder structure. And only after the folder structure gets refreshed, we are able to view the documents.

Also there are 7 levels of folders in our folder structure.

Our requirement is that the folder structure should refresh automatically as soon as we import any documents.

Could anyone shed some light on the above issue........asap

Did you made changes to the tomcat conf/web.xml like below. This you need to make before deploying webtop.

Without the enablePooling param, Webtop won't even startup.

I am using Webtop 6.5 SP2 version......

The issue is that the folder structure which is created doesn't refresh automatically in Webtop browsertree.

You will need to fire a server side refresh event that is then propogated back to the client side.

Take a look at setClientEvent(...) and the events available to the browsertree.

The following is an example from the manual

ArgumentList args = new ArgumentList();
args.add("exclude", "content");
setClientEvent("RefreshFrames", args);

There are numerous other examples in the Development guide, including some detailing exactly what you're after doing.

another way you could do is in your import post-process that creates the folder structure, you could build the DRL pointing to the last folder of the structure and redirect your browser to this DRL, it will automatically refresh the whole structure...

But I am creating the folder using TBO. Is there any way to refresh the browser tree using TBO itself or I have to make changes in the importContainer java class.

Don't think you can do it from the TBO as it's not connected to the client itself
