com.interwoven.livesite nullpointer exception

A customer is attempting to deploy their application on Oracle Container 4 Java ver. 10.1.3 and receive a nullPointer exception. They say it deploys fine to Tomcat 5.x but haven't confirmed as of yet. The trace of the error from the container log is as follows:
