Infopath form into Documentum

Hi,

I have an Microsoft Infopath form which is linked to share point list. I want to move this Infopath form from sharepoint into Documentum and capture the form data and store them in a custom type. Is there a way to link this existing form to a custom type in Documentum ?

Or can we use this template and design a form using Form Builder and have the data tied to custom type ? I need to store this form in documentum and attach it to a workflow. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure whether this approach works or not..

you can write custom activity which calls the webservice http:///_vti_bin/lists.asmx which contains information and methods to retrieve all lists/libraries and items inside them.  For infopath form, it returns xml data in which there would be lot of junk where you need to be careful in getting the relevant information.  Once you get the information, map it into your package or variables in your workflow.

PS:  Parsing the xml file for infopath item is not an easy thing unless you are super strong in xml parsing
