dnr windows to linux

Anyone have a dnr perl script called on a linux reciever when the OD server is on Windows? I've tried several things and can not even get the following to run..

Any ideas?

I've tried async = no, and also tried with including the trigger point.

I checked on the reciever and OD does have permission to run DNR's.

I don't have a linux machine, and I'm not sure what / how it isn't working - can you elaborate a bit on what you are / are not seeing?

Also - just to be sure - is it /bin/touch or /usr/bin/touch; you might try using the full path on the argument - i.e. "/bin/touch /software/Interwoven/OpenDeployNG/tmp/foo" as opposed to assuming that the 'where' part is working as expected.

Thanks for the response. I've tried with multiple paths, and hard coding. What I'm hoping is someone will tell me they have linux and had to do x to get it working :-)

I originally had it calling perl and a script (the mail_admin.ipl) but when that kept failing and failing no matter what I did to it I created a simple perl script to write a file, and that still failed... so then I tried a simple touch command.

As far as I can tell the command itself is never executing...

Any ideas? Anyone... ideas? Anyone... Beuler...anyone... ;-)

The issue was that since I was running OD as a non root user I had to specify in the OD Config on the server the as="myuser" and since I was trying to write a file I have to specify the "where", and also the "where" is since the user may not have permission where it was trying to run :-) So when using non-root use where and as.
