How to disable "Import Folder" and "Drag and Drop of foder" for specific Role and cabinet?

Hi,

I am using webtop6.5.

I need to implement following functionalities for specific Role and in specific cabinet:

1. Disabling Import "Add Folders" button while importing into cabinet.

2. User should not able to Drag and Drop Folders in cabinet.

Also i need to scope this to specific Repository as i m using 4 repositories.

Kindly help me if you can.

Hi,

For Disabling Add Folder button you have to use the following line, you need to customize the Import component's jsp for that:

<dmf:fileselectorapplet height="250" width="400" name="documentUploadApplet" folderselect="false" multiselect="true"  />

For disabling Drag & Drop Folders in specific cabinet, you may have to customize com.documentum.web.formext.control.dragdrop.DragDropManager

listener. Though I am not fully sure to what extent this could help you. But once you customize it put it in the custom.app.xml inside <listeners><formrender-listeners><listener> your class name </listener> </formrender-listeners></listeners>
