Save data in specified folder

Hi,

I am using Interwoven Teamsite 6.5

Whenever i generate a page the save popup window points to my root folder, i want the save popup window to point to a specified folder based on my templates.For example if i am using homepage template means ,during generation the save popup window should point to Home folder.

I have posted my templating.cfg code below.If i have left out any config settings kindly advise.

kindly igonore &amp;amp;lt;br/&amp;amp;gt;tags. Is this is possible in Interwoven teamsite.In templating.cfg &amp;amp;lt;directory dir-regex=".*" /&amp;amp;gt; refers to which dir in teamsite

Take a look at the Mapping Users, Templates, and Data Records section of the 6.5 FormsPublisher Developer's Guide documentation.

Specifically look at the tag, which lets you control the display of the save dialog box. I think the 'showtree' parameter is what your after in this case.

I don't believe there is anyway to pre-set the location of the Save dialog box (which is what I believe is being asked) - the validation-regex is used to validate the location chosen by the user before allowing it to be used.

If you can programmatically determine what the output path/name should be - there are functions like IWPageGeneration.setOutputFile() that can be used to, presumably, eliminate the Save dialog completely.

Other than that - I tend to prefer to use a workflow-driven process that takes care of determining the name and location of the DCR and from that, derive the name and location of its output and then perform all the page generation automatically within the confines of the workflow rather than allowing the users to click on Generate.

Showtree attribute has nothing to do to it. It sets "Two Panel" view of DC Form with Tree Frame on the left.
