Is it possible to copy readonly value from the webtop UI

Hi

I have a requirement that, I have to display chronicle Id on the properties page, but the chronicle Id field should be readonly, because it should not be altered by the users. but the user should be able to copy the chronicle Id and paste it to notepad.

As Jørg said, it's indeed a browser issue.

Firefox does not have any issues with this (it doesn't open a modal popup, but open pages in the main window) but for browsers that won't allow you to select text, there's workarounds (see Jørg's post or search the forums)
