Hi,

i am using teamsite 6.5

Save was unsuccessful. Unable to create a valid XMLDOMContext

Root cause:
INVALID_CHARACTER_ERR: An invalid or illegal XML character is specified.

I am getting this error when i am trying to create a new dcr and i tried to edit the existing dcr i am getting the same type of error.If anyone has encountered this problem before, kindly advise.

You could use the CLT $iw-home/bin/iwxml_validate.ipl
to check if your datacapture.cfg is okay.

Also, if you are using DTD make sure the CLT can find it when running it against your datacapture.cfg, usually you would need to copy it to the same location as your XML file that you are trying to validate
