Dump only one object

Hi all,

i need to dump only one object from one docbase to another docbase. is it possible to only one rather than all under dm_sysobject ?

i am using the below api script to dump all records, can any one tell me how to dump only one record ...

create,c,dm_dump_record
set,c,l,file_name
c:\pa.new
set,c,l,include_content
T

append,c,l,type
dm_sysobject
append,c,l,predicate
1=1

save,c,l
getmessage,c

You can specify the condition in predicate attribute however, dump will collect all the relevant (dependent) information on this object and creates in the target repository if it did not exist there.

You can also use DAB and Composer to archive single object. Both of these utilities do a better job of migrating single objects - vs dump which will also dump any related objects (eg acls, users, groups, etc).
