DFS (.Net): a_is_hidden and is_private are NumberProperty, not BooleanProperty

SysObject contains properties a_is_hidden and is_private that are declared as Boolean in ‘Documentum® System Version 6.6 Object Reference’. But when I retrieve an object using DFS (.Net), I see the properties are represented as type Emc.Documentum.FS.DataModel.Core.Properties.NumberProperty, not type Emc.Documentum.FS.DataModel.Core.Properties.BooleanProperty. Is this a bug; or all Boolean properties will be represented by DFS .Net Productivity Layer as NumberProperty? If so, why the BooleanProperty type is declared too?
