Electronic signature service without DCM for D6.5/D6.6/D6.7

Is there a way to configure/customize a Documentum deployment with the ability to apply and maintain electronic signatures without having DCM and ADTS? The deployment contains the Documentum stack, RPS, TCS, and DTS. Has anyone been able to produce a "mini" DCM type of solution without DCM and ADTS (RPTS)?
