I am on TS6.5 on Win2000. I have a workflow which is fine in all aspects but for one thing it is blowing. I have this workflow fabricated for 0 or more reviewers. But we needed a mandatory reviewer if there are 0 reviewers, so i have inserted an extra mandatory review and email tasks. This works fine too. The problem is at approving level from the email. Once the reviewer gets the email he clicks finish, a new page is opens up which shows the transaction task and task id and contains "Approve": and "Regect" option buttons. This is not happening for me. It says that task is no longer valid, even though the task is active. Please advice how to resolve this. Here is a snippet of my email task from the debug file.
Thank you

Can you please post your entire .wft?

Without looking too closely, it looks like you're passing the wrong task name in to the solution email. So the email probably doesn't have the task information for the task you want. Try changing this line:
. $localizer->format('review')To this:
. "Mandatory Reviewer"~Jeff

Awesome, it works. I am a Moron, all this time i was assuming that my review task name is "review" but it is "Mandatory Review". thank you for pointing that, Now it works perfectly fine.
Thank you

Well, one thing I did notice, is that you aren't using the .properties file for the new tasks you add. You should be adding <task_name>.name and <task_name>.description info to the .properties file and then referencing this in the wft using the $localizer->format('<task_name>.name') and $localizer->format('<task_name>.description'), like the rest of the tasks. This way if you rename a task, the change only needs to be done in a few places. So, lets say you're adding a new task called, oh, "Mandatory Review". You would edit the .properties file for your configurable workflow and add these two lines in the task declaration section:

mandatory_review_task.name=Mandatory Review
mandatory_review_task.description=Please Review This

Then, when you declare the task, you would do this:

declare_task('mandatory_review',
             name        => $localizer->format('mandatory_review.name'),
             description => $localizer->format('mandatory_review.description'),
             ...);

And then when you link the tasks like this:

link_tasks('preview_task',     'mandatory_review', 'Transition Comment');
link_tasks('mandatory_review', 'next_task',        'Transition Comment');

Hope that makes sense. Just trying to help out and make things easier for you to maintain.
