How do I create a instance of an object in a process

Hi,

I am sure that this is a silly question, but here goes. I have created a contentless custom type to store users' responses. I use this as a package in my workflow and I have created an electronic form to store the data. The problem is how to a produce a permanent record of this data. It seems that when the process ends the object has gone.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi John!

Strictly speaking process packages are not deleted after process ending. They are created in the /System/Workflow/Processing Form folder and they are staying there if nobody doesn't move or delete them.

In your case, if you want to get data after process ends, you need just to move your package on the one of the steps of the workflow. This can be done by Process Data Mapping activity (just use Copy function to copy some folder path to r_folder_path attribute of the package) or by Link To Folder activity.
