Dctm developer studio on Windows 7 home ?

Is it possible to install Documentum Developer Studio on windows 7 home ?

I see the installation guide mention the support for windows 7 .. However , it doesnot mention it as home or professional.

Had anyone seen any issues while installing the Developer Studio on Windows 7 Home ?

Developer Studio ???? Are you sure.... This is old outdated stuff... Don't you mean Composer ?????????????????????????

I guess it should work if you have all the pre-requisites installed. Only way to say is by trying it

I think Anshy is talking about Documentum Developer Edition, which:

"Developer Edition provides a complete infrastructure for developing applications that incorporate content management functionality. Developer Edition is an integrated platform that combines  Content Server, a relational database management system, and a full-text index system in a single  package. It includes the core technology, content-related services, and the developer resources  for building content-rich applications. Installing Developer Edition automatically deploys all  components and configures a content repository."

And this is not an old stuff

DevEdition is like the big installation package which contains all necessary products for developing and testing. This package is installing in "just one click". AFAIK, Developer Studio is just a set of separate products (like a folder with subfolders ), and each of them must be installed separately.

sometimes ago I have installed xCP Developer Edition on Win7 Standard and have no any problems with it. xCP DevEdition is not much differ from Documentum DevEdition (at least in the installation procudure). Unfortunately, I haven't heard anything about installation on Win7 Home.
