Delete dmi_wf_attachment object

Hi All,

Is it any way for us to delete dmi_wf_attachment_object?

Our users were attaching documents on the fly when the workflow was started, and they delete the document.

After that, the webtop will showing an error message saying that the document is either removed / no permission.

I think the documents is still stored in dmi_wf_attachment record, but when we tried to delete the record, its saying that the dmi_wf_attachment is not updateable object.

Our environment:

cs 6.5 SP1, webtop 6.5 sp1, da 6.5 sp1

Please advice what to do..

Hi All,

This is resolved. I used IDfWorkflow method which is removeAttachment to solve this issue.

Hi Felikk, I am using the below code to remove attachment

IDfWorkflow workflow=(IDfWorkflow)session.getObject(new DfId("4d01edf680027d01"));

IDfCollection oAttachmentCollection = workflow.getAttachments();

while (oAttachmentCollection.next()) {

System.out.println("Attachment" + oAttachmentCollection.getString("r_component_id"));

//docIds.add(oAttachmentCollection.getId("r_component_id"));

IDfId wfID = new DfId(oAttachmentCollection.getString("r_component_id"));

workflow.removeAttachment(wfID);

it throws error "[DM_WORKFLOW_E_CANT_FETCH]error: "The dmi_wf_attachment object doesnot exits.

Any suggestions
