How to import/export diagrams from Process Analyzer to Process Builder ?

I'm wondering a problem to import diagrams from Process Analyzer to Process Builder.

With the shared folders configured to use the feature "Share process with Developer", File menu in the Process Analyzer and "Get process from Analyst", File menu in the Process Builder, I have the following problem.

When I select the feature "Get process from Analyst", the error "XPDL import failed" and "Invalid byte 2 of 3-byte UTF8 sequence" appear, and the diagram is not imported to the Process Builer.

If I export the same diagram, but now, using the Export (XPDL) option in the Object menu, in the Process Analyzer and put the XML file in the shared folders, the option "Get process from Analyst" in the Process Builder works fine.

What´s is the problem with the XML file when I use the feature "Share process with Developer"?

What language are you using in the activties names?

We have such problems if we use Ukranian (or Russian) language.

I'm using portuguese language, but without accent or especial characters.

Conclusions after some tests:

When I export a diagram throught the feature "Share process with Developer" and "Get process from Analyst", and the diagram has some accent or special characters of a especific language in activities decription or activities name, the error "XPDL import failed" and "Invalid byte 2 of 3-byte UTF8 sequence" appear, and the diagram is not imported to the Process Builder. If I do not use accent or special characters of a especific language in activities decription or activities name, the feature "Get process from Analyst", import the diagram.

When I export the same diagram, with accent or special characters of a especific language in activities decription or activities name, but now, using the Export (XPDL) option in the Object menu, in the Process Analyzer and put the XML file in the shared folders, the option "Get process from Analyst" in the Process Builder import the diagram.

In my language (Portuguese) is a little complicated not use some words without an accent, so...

The question is: What´s the diference in the XML file when I use the feature "Share process with Developer" or Export (XPDL)?

Sorry, but I don't know the structure of PA/PB xml files. I don't know this product deeply. I just test it for a while and made some reseach. After reseaching we refused to the product.

On this issue, we contacted the technical support and got an answer that problem due to we use the unsupported version of the database.

Hi,

what version of Process Builder are you using?

I have checked founded by me bug BPM-2376 (https://powerlink.emc.com/nsepn/webapps/btg548664833igtcuup4826/km/servicesTools/portlets/knownissues/pageflows/showPopupDetails.do?IssueNumber=BPM-2376) and found that planned fix release is 6.7. I don't have Process Analyzer installed so I cann't check it.

I'm using the Process Builder 6.6 and Process Analyzer 6.5 SP1.

Do you know if there is a patch for the 6.6 version?
