Publishing Native format documents using SCS job

Hi All,

I was to publish the documents of formate like doc,ppt using SCS job.

Is there any configuration changes i need to do ?

we have "exclude_formats" parameter to execulude any particular format like wise do we have configuration / parameter for including the format we want to publish.

No, there is no "include format" configuration. As long as the published version label is applied to a document (of any format), it will get picked up by SCS (as long as its not part of exclude format). The "exclude format" was designed to allow admin folks to filter out non-web-safe formats (eg doc) and only publish web-safe formats (eg pdf). If you dont list doc and ppt in the exclude format, it will be published.

My acctual Requirement is that we have life cycle with draft -> inreview -> approved.

When the Document is moved to Approved state the document should automaticaly get published .

Do I need to do any custom congfiguration for SCS or do i need to use DFC custom code in SBO .

Please provide suggestions..

As long as your lifecycle is applying the "approved" label as part of lifecycle action and that you configure your SCS job to query for "approved" label, you should be all set.

OK I have menctioned in the version_labels in the dm_webc_config object

Will the object be picked up form any folder in the repositry or the Source folder selected in the configuration
