unchecking a checkbox with example code

hi,

I am still unable to solve my problem.

I am sending my code which throws an alert if more than one check box is selected.

function chkmajor(item)
{

var group = IWDatacapture.getItem("/Content/Campaign").getChildren();
if (group == null) return;
var num = group.length;
var flag="0";
for(var i=1; i<=num; i++) {
var T = IWDatacapture.getItem("/Content/Campaign[" + i + "]/Major Campaign");

if(T.getValue() !="0")
{
//alert("not selected");
}
else
{
if(flag != "1")

This function is called on itemchange event of check box.

so after showing an alert "cannot select more than one" i want to uncheck the newly selected checkbox.

here "MajorCampaign" is the replicate item in Campaign container.

As kaalraa pointed out, you should have kept this in your other post.

That being said, I don't see you attempting to use the code I provided in the other thread.

I have another question though. If all you are doing is trying to prevent the user from selecting more than one check box in the item, why not use a radio button?

If you insist on using check boxes, plese try out what I suggested in the other thread and post the code if you can't get it to work. Please reply in your other thread to keep all useful info in one thread.
