DM_AUDITTRAIL_S... unique constraint violated. Any help ?

Documentum Oracle Database had to be migrated from version 10.2.0.3 to version 11 yesterday.
During Oracle database upgrade to version 11, the upgrade failed.
DBA team restored the database until the last archive redo log. ( so , just before the upgrade process)
The database is still currently in version 10.2.0.3

Since this upgrade problem we have an issue ( see below )

application is working fine ( login, read, browse , .. ) but when we try to CREATE a new document or IMPORT a new document we have an error message :

Could not check in document 'Customers.pdf' : "save failed for object with handle 5f000001800ee582 of type dm_audittrail: table on which save failed was DM_AUDITTRAIL_S; error from database system was ORA-00001: unique constraint (GEDO.D_1F0000018000018C) violated.

error is always de same : unique constraint... violated.

can anyone can help ..?

we are using Content server 6.5 SP3.

You could try the following...

What changes have ye made to auditing?

If no changes or if dm_default_set is enabled then

Login to DA as a system administartor user with config audit privilege
Delete the dm_default_set

If have changed auditing, then disable auditing for the type.

Once you have disabled it, retry create new document or import document

Did they restore the binaries as well as the database?

only database has been restored. No binaries have been deleted or modified. Database upgrade was scheduled afterwork , at night.

In your original post you said:

I presume that part of the upgrade process, the binaries for Oracle were upgrade to 11 as well. When you rolled back to previous version, the binaries may need to be rolled back to 10 as well.

i check with DBA Team and yes , Oracle Binaries have been rolled back also.

we have a new error msg now :

Could you provide help..? This is a BLOCKING issue..!

Current error msg is now :

Can i delete entries in that table ..?

Can we stop DM_AUDITTRAIL ? Will it solve the problem ? What are the conséquences...?
