Full Documentum/export folder on Taskspace application server

Hi,

we have problem with full folder on path x:/Documentum/export on application server (where resides Taskspace application on Tomcat server). In export folder are pdf documents which are viewed in taskspace as preview by clients (end users). These documents are not deleted and we don´t know, where we can set path and housekeeping interval and everything about this preview (if it is possible). Thank you for your help.

I just ran into the same issue at a customer site. Can't reproduce it on my local VMware instance.

Were you able to solve the problem?

TaskSpace 6.5 SP2 on WebLogic/Windows.Customer is not using ACS.

Not yet, sorry. We are using workaround - deleting this folder content.

This controlled by house.keeping.interval in ucf.installer.config.xml located in webapp/wdk/contentxfer.

Sorry but I think this does not apply to exported documents.

but I think, that setting if for cleaning folder on client side. But my problem is with folders on server side on application server.

No experience without ACS.

Mine too!

We are talking about files accumulating in the documentum\export folder on the application server. Please note that we are not doing an export, just opening the file in TaskSpace via double-click. Still the files get generated in documentum\export.

So how are you doing this? Can you give some information on your case? Do you have any customizations?

See if you have any WDK components that is calling DFC checkout/export/view operations. Since DFC called from application server it will download the files into application server.For example if you call DFC checkout from tomcat it will download files from repository into Tomcat/bin/checkout directory. A similar situation occurred in our environment while development.

This is out-of-the-box, no customizations. We also reproduced using the parent application TaskSpace, so no particular configuration either other than ACS being disable (for good reasons I don't want to get into). You just select a document and click open (or double-clic) and the document opens in the "Open Items" tab. Each time you switch back from the Open Items tab, a file gets created on app server in documentum\export. Weird....
