DM_SESSION_W_AGENT_EXEC_FAILURE_EXCEED

Hi ,

dm_Agent_exec process not running.

i am getting the below error in docbase log,

any hints? or any suggestions to reolve the issu

Hi,

check the classpath environment variable , whether the required JAR file's paths are included. eg: dctm.jar...

I am able to see CLASSPATH is fine and it contain all the required jar files

For your Info : when i do the manual start of the agnet_exec process it's running.. but not starting autiomatically

Check the following rights for installation owner (available for WIndows OS):

1. Act as part of the operating system
2 .Create a token object
3. Increase quotas
4. Log on as a service
5. Logon locally
6. Replace a process-level token

Hi,

These are the variables which needs to be there in CLASSPATH : <drive>\Program Files\Documentum\dctm.jar; <drive>\Documentum\config; <drive>\Documentum\product\6.6\dctm-server.jar

If this did nt work pls post the agentexec.log. Also try Andrei's suggestion.

i am able to start the agent_exec process manually..but when i restart the docbase again, i am getting the same problem

how to avoid the manual restart of agent exec process every time

Now that you can start it manaully if you look in your Admin manual you will find the parameter settings, this one is probibly one you want to enable and look at the log

Tracing for the agent exec process is turned off by default (trace level = 0). To turn it on, use Documentum Administrator to add the -trace_level argument to the agent_exec_method method command line. For example: .\dm_agent_exec -trace_level 1

Setting the trace level to any value except zero turns on full tracing for the process.

The log file is named agentexec.txt and is stored in the
%DOCUMENTUM%\dba\log\repository_id\agentexec
($DOCUMENTUM/dba/log/repository_id/agentexec) directory.
