Allow All-Version for Simple Search in Webtop

Hi experts,

I am engaged in Documentum Webtop 6.5 with Index Agent implementation. My client requested that simple search should cover all versions of documents, instead of only the latest version shown as default.

Does anybody know there is configration allowing all versions showed in the search result?

Or I must make customization in Search60/SearchEx Java Behavior Classes?

I would much appreciate if you can provide a help.

customisation, of search search60_component, searchex is for legacy support. should not have to care about it

Hi,

Yes, you'll have to customize at the DFC level, look at the DFC Javadoc for the IdfQueryBuilder interface, there is a method to include all versions: setIncludeAllVersions. You can also have a look at the Documentum Search Development guide to know more about the DFC Search package.
