Keyword must match the whole word for Advance/Simple Search?

Hi experts,

I am engaged in Documentum Webtop 6.5 with Index Agent implementation.

When I make advance/simple search, I found that keyword must match the whole word in document content/metadata.

For example, I would like to seach all documents with letters "ple" in content and expect documents with "simple", "apple", etc. will be retrieved in search result.

However, no record is restrieved. I must type the exact "simple" word to find the target documents.

Is there any configuration allowing the said requirement?

Hi,

Xplore 1.1 installation guide gives the details of changes to be done for fragmented search.(Page 132)

Basically in dm_ftengine_config you need to set fast_wildcard_compatible attribute to true.
