Is it possible in documentum to make a part of document visible to some users but invisible to others?
To my knowledge, I dont think there is a way to hide a porition of document for some users. Have you looked into virtual documents? May be you can split the document into 2 and set the appropriate acl on each of those and then include them in a virtual document so that they can stay together.
Yes but this is very difficult task for the end users.I am not looking for that.Actually there is no such a requirement at all, but I have heard that IBM FileNet has such a functionality for graphical files.So I want to know if Documentum offers something similar, too.
Maybe you can accomplish this using Brava Redact-It from Informative Graphics, take a look at their website.
