MediaBin asset dimension

Hi all we have the MB TRANSFER folder placed on a disk of 40GB.
We think that our users could concurrently upload files and fill up the disk space.

Is it possible to limit the file dimension for the upload? For example, if the user wants to upload a file bigger than the 10GB a popup message is showed.

That would require a modification of the code. The MediaBin web client uses the browser's built-in file transfer manager. Applets or activeX controls are not used do the file transfer.
The only way I know to determine the file size at the browser BEFORE the transfer has begun, is to use an applet or ActiveX control.
