Calling IWDatacapture.SAVE_BUTTON

Here's my scenario.

DCT has a button on it called "Tag". Upon pressing the button, the tagging UI pops up in another window.

As we all know, to tag a DCR, you need to have saved it first.

Is there a way of explicitly calling/executing th IWDatacapture.SAVE_BUTTON without clicking on the Save Button (which is linked to an autoname feature)

Yes, IWDatacapture.save().

However, any onSave, onSaveValid or onSaveNameSpecified events are not fired as a result of this method. onSaveDone events are, though.
