Is it possible to use a feature like a preset in Taskspace in order to show a simplified list of document types when importing a document? Maybe filtering them by roles? If it is possible, in what version?

No - The Presets functions as familiar in Webtop is not available in TSP.
You can try to create a configurable action that will create a specific folder type object and place it in the folder view

Prisets are not avaiable in TaskSpace.I have acheved this goal by overrading tsnewfolder_component.xml.
Copy it to custom config and make your changes.See wdk development gide for instructions.
