BAM with Webtop

Hi  All,

We are looking  at creating some report using BAM , these would be accessed  from Webtop. We need some of this reports to accept USER Input (parameter) . Looking at  leads on how to achieve this.  Is there Custom codeing required , can these reports be interactive like in the Taskspace Dashboards. We users would not  want to have 2 different interfaces.

Also since DRS reports are  available in Webtop, Is it  an option to be able to create DRS reports  accessing the BAM tables/database.

Any Suggestion are greatly appreciated.

DRS seems as good option. You will need to use the correct JDBC driver, the default for DRS is the Documentum driver which will not work if you retrieve data from the BAM database.

If you want to call BAM reports directly from TaskSpace then have a look at the implementation guide; chapter about Report URL. You should be able to send Filter values.

You cannot use the interactive dashboard UI.
