Hi,
Can someone provide me information where could i get the guide for database tuning on oracle database as well as with SQL Database,
Thanks ,
Some time ago I have found this document (see attachment). Unfortunately, it is not very new but this the best I've found.
Also you will find a few recomendations in the xCP Best Practices Guide > Performance and Scalability > Recommended database server settings.

Thanks for your help.
I just want to tune my database for better performance with search. Is there any procedure for performance tuning with database. In the guide which you have sent,I could see poor performing SQL tuning with oracle 10g.
I mean to ask,is there any parameters to be modified for better performance.
Thanks in Advance,
You have to be carefull in tuning the database. Basic Oracle tuning tips will just as likely slow down as improve. Dctm uses some own techniques that are against the Oracle philosophy.
Do you mean with 'search' that some queries aren't running as good as expected? My experience (AIX/Oracle11g) has been that the out-of-the box Oracle is quite good. Do you have some specific actions that are slow? Tuning other areas have a much bigger impact in my experience.
