Documentum Composer New file Tabs

Hello,

I configured the display configuration for my custom type in Composer by adding new display configurations in the display configuration list, and populating them with attributes as stated in the documentation.

However, when I go file --> New File and select my custom object type, all the tabs are displayed in one page called "Info" divided into section that are supposed to be actual tabs.

Any ideas?

Hi,

This is webtop's default behavior.If you save the file and then click on Properties you will find your tabs.But on the new file action it does not display the tabs instead it displays some separators.

Interesting. I guess it's complicated to change that default behavior to tabs.

I wanted to have multiple tabs so that when we click on next, I can call a webservice and retrieve some attributes.

I guess now I need to add a new button to the new file component for that functionality.

this is "out of the box" behaviour. Compelete the file creation and view its properties. Then you will see the correct tabs.

In my current project I have configured import and checkin attribute lists to display only required attributes (and that is to many!!!)

Also I added a customisation to new document to display the list of attributes as shown in import
