Save a form in a task

Hi,

In the application I work, I have the workflow with tasks and all the tasks have an embedded form. In this form the save button is enabled.

But when I try to open a task the save button is gone...

It's possible in this case save the data in the embedded form?

Hi,

The Save button on the e-form must call so called 'save-trigger' (check this please: open e-form in Forms Builder and select Save button, there is must be 'save-trigger' as it's Name). All e-form's buttons are hided when you place this e-form as embedded form on the Task template. When you click Task's buttons (Finish, Forward, Close, etc) it's called triggers from e-form. Which trigger is called depends of the button type:

If you click Forward button on the Task the e-form's 'save-trigger' is called. So all e-form's contents will be saved.

If you close Task form the 'cancel-trigger' is called. So all modifications are will be cancelled.

Each of Task's buttons closes the Task form, so you cann't save data on the form and continue to fill data. E-form will be saved only after Task will be closed.

Hi Konstantin,

I don't care if each of task's button closes the Task form, I want one button that call the 'save-trigger' and close it.

Do you think that is possible make a custom action to do this?
