Drop Down auto population in form builder 6.6

Hi,

We have a requiremnt where we need to auto populate the drop down in a form. We are not able to use init adaptors as the form is opened on a tab and the form does not executes init adaptors if the form is opened through tab.

We are using data source adaptors to meet the requirement but the issue with data siurce adaptor is that the default value which comes in the dropdown is coming blank.

Is there a way through which we can auto populate the result set as the default value in the drop down?
