I have a custom attribute with value assistance in Composer. I want this attribute value to be greyedout and set to a default value only in the import component.
To achieve this i am trying to get this attribute name and value in my JSP, but unable to do this.
Can you all please help on how to achieve this?

Import compnent takes an argument "defaultAttributesValues". Override onInit and set its value before calling super.onInit(arg);

* read only,

see attributes component for setting controls to read only after they have been initilized

I am using 6.5, when i try to get defaultAttributeValues, it gives value as null.

perhaps you would consider writing some code and filling this argument value with your defaults!!!
