I'd probably start with IWHOME/local/logs/iwserver.log - then look at other logs within that directory as well as within IWHOME/local/logs/iwui/

If you have tweaked things with with the content center UI (custom menu item), its logging is in iw-home/local/logs/iwui/servletd_out.log.

If that custom menu item was calling a perl CGI script, I would check your IIS logs or underneath iw-home/iwwebd/logs
