Backup OD

DavidMusser

I'm tryin to backup OpenDeploy, and the following files are locked.

Is there something similar to the iw-freeze for OD so that we can backup these files?

\Interwoven\OpenDeployNG\db\openjms.db

\Interwoven\AdminServer\odadmin\db\EventReporting.db

I really do not want to stop OD unless I have to.

Have not heard of a way to "freeze" OD. I can see why you might want to back up the

\Interwoven\AdminServer\odadmin\db\EventReporting.db

but not

\Interwoven\OpenDeployNG\db\openjms.db since this is an internal db used with JMS.

Note the EventReporting.db is a Hypersonic db unless you have pointed it to a custom db. Hence you could stop the reporting db. Albeit at your own risk. Not sure what might happen if OD tried to write to it while stopped, but it would probably not be good.
