IDS Configuration based on meta data instead of Cabinet or folder for publishing data from source to

Hello All,

Would like to know, is there any way in IDS configuration for Data which needs to be publish on Target or copied on Target , can be considered based on unique metadata values , either source cabinet / folder configuration information is need to be provided.

My requreuirement is.

Particular type (which contain unique metadata value) of documents from source repository to be published on target.

Any praposition for the same ?

1. I can write TBO to link to required / configured IDS Source folder.

any other approach, to avoid to create TBO ? like Smart container or anything OUT of the BOX ????

2. I need to retain those documents on Target location for a 12 months duration only. After that it should get deleted.

Identifying documents to be published

You can link documents to the publishing folder before or after you create the delivery configuration.

Use any Documentum client product to link the documents, or create the links with DQL.

Is there any DQL option for linking to required publishing folder ?
