How to display metadata attributes instead of doument view?

Hi Experts,

In our environment we have some object types which don't have any format associated with.We use this types to record the workflow history and actions performed by each user.So now I have a requirement to display the metadata in place of the document viewer like in this image.

Can anyone tell me how can I achieve this?

I have found one example shown in the second image but I don't know how they have done it.

Hi, Imran

You will need to create Document View form template. Place on it all required document attributes. Remove 'Image viewer' control and you will get only attributes without contents of a document.

Link this doc view for a each role (Configuration -> Role).

Is that you need?

Hi,

I have tryed what you have suggested.But I get this error when I delete the document viewer control from doc view form.

The number of the Document Viewer controls [0] doesn't match the minimum number [1] defined in the profile.

Is there any spacial way to remove it?

I have found the application.But I guess they are using XML.I wonder if this is possible for custom type not for xml.

I have found the answer to the question.

First,

1. We have to create an electronic form for the type.

2. Then we have to set the format of the document to form.

3. In task space it is required to configure viewer for form format.The browser can display form formats.
