can any one help me to find out the
Difference b/w Content Storage Services and Retention Policy Services...
please suggest Which one is Best and why?
Content Storage Services has to do with ILM (information lifecycle mgmt on media). Most features of CSS is 1) content deduplication, 2) content compression, and 3) placing content in specific filestore or moving it from one filestore/medium to another (eg archiving old files to lower tier storage)
Retention Policy Services has to do with RM (records management). You can think of RPS as light weight records mgmt. It allows you define retention policies, file plans, and allows you dispose of records. There is another product called Records Manager that has the full capabilities of typical records management application.
